TIPS

  • Wear your hair as you would normally. The day of your photo shoot may not be the time to try something different. If you plan to change your hairstyle or color do so a week or two in advance to make sure you like the new look.

  • Glasses can reflect light. If possible, try to borrow a pair frames without lenses from your optometrist. If not we can usually remove glare digitally at no additional charge.

  • Guys - If you have facial hair (beard or mustache) make sure it is neatly trimmed.  Be sure to arrive freshly shaven.

  • Gals - wear your makeup as you normally do.  Don't over do it and avoid using glitter.

  • Outdoor portraits are usually more casual.  Your clothing selection is up to you but keep in mind that neater and nicer is usually better.

  • Formal portraits usually look better with dressier clothes.  If you can't decide on what to wear just bring a couple of your favorite outfits with you.
